On December 30th, annual exhibitions of -"World Civilization" series, "A Kaleidoscope of Civilization -- Syrian Ancient CulturalRelics Exhibition" will be unveiled in Jinsha Site Museum.The exhibition will run from December 30, 2021 to May 8, 2022.
The exhibition set 12 institutes at home and abroad, including National Museum in Damascus, Syria, Aleppo Museum, Dei Ezzor Museum, as well as the Domestic Dunhuang Research Institute, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum, Museum of Xi'an Forest of Ancient Stone Tablets, such as 183 pieces (sets), about Syria since the Stone, Bronze,Iron, Greece, Rome and the Islamicera,which paintsa magnificent picture of Syrian historyof a 500,000-yearcultural landscape.
In addition, the exhibition will also exhibit a number of evidences of the friendly exchanges between China and Syria in ancient times.In 2021, China signed bilateral cooperation documents with Other Asian countries on the Action for The Protection of Asian Cultural Heritage, initiating cooperation in joint archaeology, protection and restoration of cultural heritage, world heritage and exchange of museum exhibitions.
Against this backdrop, it also marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Syria.Along this great artery that runs through China and the west, silk and porcelain from China were exported to Europe and Egypt through Syria along with the oriental charm. Scriptures and classics from Syria also came to China along this road, depicting the long history of communication between the two countries.
